In November, a 0.4% growth was recorded. The overall apartment price level in the major cities of Lithuania in 2013 increased 1.1%, the biggest annual increase since mid 2008.
The capital city saw a 0.2% rise in prices in December and the average price per square meter reached EUR 1,218 (+3 EUR/sqm). In 2013, apartment prices in Vilnius increased 2.8%, which is a 5.5% (+63 EUR/sqm) increase since the last lowest price in May 2010. A 0.2% rise in prices was recorded in Klaipeda and Siauliai in December, and the average price per square meter increased to EUR 961 (+2 EUR/sqm) and EUR 552 (+1 EUR/sqm) respectively.
In Kaunas and Panevezys, prices for apartments remained stable in December and were the same as in November: 931 EUR/sqm and 517 EUR/sqm.
