Such plans were announced by Chair of the Management Board of the Lietuvos Energija Dalius Misiunas on Friday.
"Taking into consideration the potential, we say that there are opportunities to optimize the current activities, to optimize the use of the capital, to develop the new projects, to implement the development (). Our strategy is to create the value. The creation is based on the development, efficiency and new organizational culture," said Misiunas on Friday.
Misiunas revealed that, during the period of 2014-2020, the company planned to invest LTL 2-3 billion (EUR 579-868 million) in the development.
"The leading priority is the heating and electricity generated together – cogeneration (). Another sphere is the development of the existing power and the well-know projects – the development of the Kruonis Pumped Storage Plant," said the head of the Lietuvos Energija.
