The park's administration would not name the Lithuanian company, but Belarus' media have reported that it is New Craft Technologies, which plans to build an integrated plant for the manufacture of organic cellulose polymer packaging.
Julijus Glebovas, Lithuania's commercial attaché in Belarus, says that, as far as he knows, this is the only Lithuanian-owned company to have signed a letter of intent for investment in the industrial park.
It is said that New Craft Technologies will invest more than 7 million euros.
Set up in 2010, the 205-square-kilometer Grand Stone is planned to grow into a modern city with an industrial zone, research centers, a residential area, shopping and leisure centers and a resort accommodating 160,000 people.
