The NIB had given the category A for the LNG terminal and this means that the project having the potential effect on the environment was to be publicly considered before it was funded.
The Lithuania's company Klaipedos Nafta which is charged with the duty to implement the project of the LNG terminal managed to get EUR 87 million loan for 20 years from European Investment Bank.
This loan will secure about 50 percent of the need money for the LNG terminal.
