Parcel terminals used 24 hours a day will be installed in Birzai, Druskininkai, Telsiai, Palanga, Jonava, Jurbarkas, Ukmerge, Vilnius and Kaunas. By the end of 2013, total 44 terminals of Post24 will be installed in Lithuania.
"This service as alternative to customary post will provide opportunity for residents of smaller towns pay less for sending and receiving parcels," said Julija Matuliene, Sales Group Manager at Post24.
Post24 network in Lithuania is the subsidiary of Estonian Post. The first outdoor Post24 parcel terminals in the Baltics were first introduced in Estonia, now in Lithuania, and in Latvia in the near future. Estonian Post is planning to install in total more than 100 parcel terminals in the Baltic States. The investment into the expansion is two million euros.
