The statistical methods were revised this year, therefore, most of the data cannot be compared with earlier periods, the department said.
In the third quarter of this year, revenue of Lithuania's non-financial companies for goods and services stood at 20.4 billion euros, up by 3.8% from the March-June period, while their pre-tax profit was 1.4 billion euros, which is nearly 30% (EUR 585 mln) below the level posted in the earlier quarter.
In July-September, 61.1% of the companies operated at a profit.
