'It is necessary to identify the problems faced by businesses in Europe and address them comprehensively. Small and medium-sized business in Europe, like in Lithuania, is very important for the economy of the region. Inquiries of SMEs suggest that attracting consumers is the main problem faced by companies. We must therefore ensure smooth functioning of the EU Single Market and enhancement of enterprise competitiveness. This may be achieved through the creation of a business-friendly environment which could enable business establishment and development. I welcome the discussions initiated under this Assembly as well as the Assembly's input in addressing issues relevant to business,' Minister of Economy Evaldas Gustas said.
