The company has already invested over 15 million euros in a new production facility and modernization of equipment this year, planning to invest another 15 million euros in production development and reconstruction of the main production building, Mars Lietuva said.
"The investment will allow boosting production volumes and provide an opportunity to launch new products," Ausra Zemaitiene, CEO of Mars Lietuva, said in a press release.
Last year, Mars Lietuva posted a net profit to 9.5 million euros, up 20.3% from 2015, while its sales revenue rose by 10.8 percent to 150.713 million euros. Mars Lietuva's production last year grew by 15 percent to almost 75,000 tons of products.
US-registered Mars Overseas Holdings owns 100 percent of shares in Mars Lietuva.
