SEB to finance Carlsberg's car fleet renewal in Baltics

The Swedish financial group SEB's Baltic banks will provide 4.3 million euros in financing for renewing the car fleet of Carlsberg Group, the owner of Lithuania's biggest brewery Svyturys-Utenos Alus. Rolandas Virsilas, the managing director for the Baltic countries at Carlsberg, says that all newly purchased cars will have integrated alcohol detection systems. "As far as we know, we are the first ones in Lithuania to do so," Virsilas said in a press release on Thursday. SEB said that Carlsberg Group will purchase a total of 257 cars, including 123 in Lithuania and 67 in Latvia and Estonia each, from Inchcape Motors through leasing.
