The Lithuanian port handled 337,500 TEUs during the nine months, up 4.4% from 323,400 in the same period last year.
TEU traffic in Riga Freeport increased by 17% to 323,900 and Tallinn posted a 5.5% rise to 157,100 units. The Latvian port of Liepaja saw its TEU traffic more than double to 3,300 units.
Annual TEU traffic via Klaipeda grew by 12.9% in 2016 compared with 2015 to reach 443,300 units.
