Over the month, seasonally and calendar adjusted, a decrease in production was observed for manufacture of motor vehicles, trailers and semi-trailers – 8.9% (unadjusted – 9.7%), other non-metallic mineral products – 4.9% (unadjusted – 15.6%), food products – 1.4% (unadjusted – 4.4%), rubber and plastic products – 1.3% (unadjusted – 0.3%), beverages – 1% (unadjusted – 16.7%).
The proportion of sales of industrial production on the non-Lithuanian market increased by 0.1 percentage point and stood at 64.3%, on the Lithuanian market – decreased by 0.1 percentage point and stood 35.7%. The value of sales to non-euro area countries accounted for more than half (53.5%) of the total value of sales on the non-Lithuanian market.
In January–September 2017, against the same period of 2016, the value of sales of the production of industrial enterprises on the non-Lithuanian market increased by 13.2% at current prices. The increase was determined by an increase in the sales of the production of the manufacture of refined petroleum products (31.5%), rubber and plastic products (12.9%), food products (8%). Refined petroleum products excluded, the value of sales on the non-Lithuanian market increased by 8.6% at current prices. The value of sales to euro area countries increased by 12.4, to non-euro area countries – 13.9% at current prices.
The value of sales of industrial production on the Lithuanian market increased by 12.5, refined petroleum products excluded – 10.2% at current prices.
