"Foreign investment not only adds new jobs, it also contributes to promoting economic growth and high performance culture. Lithuania will always need transparent, responsible and competitive business. Therefore, I am delighted that investors see Lithuania as a country of opportunities, with a lot of talented, diligent and skilled people," the President said.
Inviting to invest in Lithuania, the President called on members of the Investors' Forum to discover not only major Lithuanian cities, but also smaller towns. She noted that a start-up in a small town not only offers a new perspective for its residents - it is also an untapped potential for businesses investing in our country.
Founded 14 years ago, Investors' Forum today comprises over 50 banking companies operating in banking, telecommunications, services and other sectors. About 26,000 jobs were created through their investment in Lithuania.
