Sales revenue soared by 26% year-on-year to 2.673 billion euros (USD 3.141 b), Poland's Orlen said in its financial report for January-September.
In the third quarter of this year, Orlen Lietuva's revenue grew by 24% to 999.2 million euros (USD 1.174 b) from the same period last year, while net profit jumped by a factor of 5.1 to 61.3 million euros (USD 72 mln). Quarter-on-quarter, the company's revenue and net profit rose by 23% and 43%, respectively.
Orlen Lietuva's EBITDA for the nine months came in at 172.8 million euros (USD 203 mln), up 35% from 148.9 million euros (USD 175 mln) a year ago.
The company processed 7.165 million tons of crude over the nine months of 2017, rising by 5% year-on-year. This year, Orlen Lietuva used 94% of its capacity, which is an increase by 5 percentage points from January-September last year.
The company's capital expenditure (Capex) amounted to 41.7 million euros (USD 49 mln) in the nine months of 2017.
