The companies signed three contracts, at 848,700 euros each.
"The company will carry out all the work in connection to the expropriation, including the evaluation of the land," Mantas Dubauskas, spokesman for LG, told BNS.
The project will include expropriation in the districts of Kaunas, Jonava, Kedainiai, Panevezys and Pasvalys.
Lithuania will need to take over around 1,200 private land sites and 63 state-owned sites, with the price to be established after an evaluation.
According to 2014 forecasts, purchase of the land may require about 753 million euros.
