The statistical methods were revised this year, therefore, most of the data cannot be compared with earlier periods, the department said.
In the second quarter of this year, revenue of Lithuania's non-financial companies for goods and services stood at 19.7 billion euros, up by 10.2% from the January-March period, while their pre-tax profit was 2 billion euros, including nearly 40% (about EUR 778 mln) generated from financial and investment operations. Excluding the profit, operational profits from economic operations went up by 37% over the quarter.
