According to the vessel positions tracking website Marinetraffic.com, the Arctic Princess entered the Lithuanian port at 6:30 a.m.
Based on information available to BNS, the tanker delivered the 140,000-cubic-meter shipment for the fertilizer manufacturer Achema, which purchases gas from Statoil. The shipment is not on the supply schedule published on the website of the gas trade company Litgas, which also buys gas from the Norwegian supplier.
A tanker last week delivered a cargo for the natural gas supply and trade company Lietuvos Duju Tiekimas (Lithuanian Gas Supply) from Cheniere Marketing International, marking the first LNG shipment of US gas for Lithuania.
