Verum Plus with undisclosed shareholders sells various raw materials including crude and its products. In January of 2016, it signed a one-year contract with Lithuania's Klaipedos Nafta on handling of heavy fuel oil products shipped from Belarus' Mozyr crude refinery, with the possibility to extend the deal for two more years. It also has a gas transmission contract with Amber Grid.

Verum Plus is headed by Andrey Poliakov who used to work in Litasco, subsidiary of the Russian oil concern Lukoil and, after being sacked, was briefly employed in Azerbaijan's state-run oil company Socar.

Latvia's state-run company Latvenergo, which was not able to import gas from Lithuania in the past due to a ban from Latvijas Gaze, last week signed a gas supplies contract with Lietuvos Duju Tiekimas (Lithuanian Gas Supplies, LDT) and should shortly start importing liquefied natural gas (LNG) imported via the Klaipeda LNG terminal in Lithuania.

Currently, 33 companies have gas supplies licenses in Lithuania but merely eight conduct operations.
