The company's net profit doubled to 1.803 million euros in 2016 year-on-year, Forum Cinemas said in a report to the Center of Registers.
Forum Cinemas' revenue from ticket sales grew by 13.3% to 11.3 million euros last year from the year before, while sales of goods were up 22.9% to 4.6 million euros and advertisement by 8% to 512,200 euros.
At the end of last year, the company had staff of 157.
A report in late January suggested that US company AMC Entertainment Holdings was buying Sweden's Nordic Cinema Group, which owns the Baltic movie theaters Forum Cinemas, for 876 million euros. The deal is yet to be approved by the European Commission.
