Over the month, seasonally and calendar adjusted, a decrease in production was observed for repair and installation of machinery and equipment – 28.8% (unadjusted – 29.6%), manufacture of basic pharmaceutical products and pharmaceutical preparations – 19.7% (unadjusted – 23.8%), basic metals – 10% (unadjusted – 7.3%), beverages – 7.2% (unadjusted – increased by 2.5%), fabricated metal products, except machinery and equipment – 4.7% (unadjusted – 3.4%).
Changes in sales of mining and quarrying and manufacturing enterprises in January–June 2017, against the same period of 2016
The share of sales of industrial production on the non-Lithuanian market increased by 0.1 percentage point and stood at 64.9%, on the Lithuanian market – decreased by 0.1 percentage point and stood 35.1%. The value of sales to non-euro area countries accounted for more than half (54.2%) of the total value of sales on the non-Lithuanian market.
In January–June 2017, against the same period of 2016, the value of sales of the production of industrial enterprises on the non-Lithuanian market increased by 14% at current prices. The increase was determined by an increase in the sales of the production of the manufacture of refined petroleum products (35.4%), fabricated metal products, except machinery and equipment (40.1%), food products (10.5%). Refined petroleum products excluded, the value of sales on the non-Lithuanian market increased by 8.9% at current prices. The value of sales to euro area countries increased by 9.9, to non-euro area countries – 17.7% at current prices.
The value of sales of industrial production on the Lithuanian market increased by 13.7, refined petroleum products excluded – 10.4% at current prices.
