Lithuania's Enerstena bags EUR 3 mln biomass boiler plant contract in Latvia

Lithuania's energy construction group Enerstenos Grupe (Enerstena Group) has signed a contract worth over 3 million euros to build a 10-megawatt (MW) biomass boiler plant at a wood processing facility of Latvia's AmberBirch. The group has until July 2018 to manufacture and build the biomass boiler plant and a 5 MW reserve gas steam boiler next to it, Enerstenos Grupe Virginijus Ramanauskas said. The company has already carried out five biomass boiler plant projects in Latvia under contracts with state-owned enterprises. The total capacity of the boiler plants amounts to over 50 MW.
