German automotive electronics giant Hella to hire 2,000 in Kaunas

Hella, a German manufacturer of lighting technology and electronics products for the automotive industry that will shortly start constructing a factory in the Kaunas free economic zone (FEZ), may hire a total of about 2,000 people in Lithuania. The daily cited sources as saying that the factory would be developed in four phases, with the first one to be started before the end of 2017 and finished in mid-2018. The first phase will involve 30 million euros in investments and create 250 jobs. Hella is among the world's top 40 automotive parts suppliers and one of Germany's 100 largest industrial companies.
