The 16,000 square building will be built by construction company Mitnija.
Both companies have cooperated in the past.
Head of Mitnija Julius Gendvilis said that the new centre will be an example of concern for environment as it will use geothermal heating which is still rare for such buildings in Lithuania.
"It will be a challenge for our team, because the logistics centre has to be built in seven months with most of the work done in winter," said Gendvilis.
Yet, he was sure that Mitnija, one of the major construction companies in Lithuania, will complete the task on time.
