"The average price fell steadily throughout the week. Increased imports from Sweden had an impact on this," the power transmission system operator saide.
"The capacity of power interconnectors between Estonia and Latvia continues to be restricted due to maintenance at Russia's transmission grid," it said.
Electricity production in the Baltic countries declined by one-tenth week-on-week, with the largest decrease registered in Latvia. Lithuanian power plants' output declined by one-fourth.
Lithuania last week imported 83% of its electricity, with 27% of imports coming from Latvia, Estonia and Finland, 48% from Sweden and 25% from third countries.
