Mindaugas Snarskis, CEO at Fazer Bakery Baltic, said the bakery featured a new production line of bread snacks, adding that exports of the snacks would grow by a factor of five. Furthermore, the production will be exported to Russia, with plans to expand to Finland in the future, as the company has bakerie sin both countries.
Kaunas Mayor Visvaldas Matijosaitis said the company was one of the city's key employers, employing 240 Kaunas residents.
Fazer Lietuva's sales grew by 3.4% to 16.625 mln euros in 2016 y-o-y.
