Lithuania's Merko Statyba slashes 2016 revenue by 20%

Merko Statyba, a Lithuanian building company that is part of Estonia's Merko Ehitus, one of the Baltics' largest construction and real estate groups, posted 22.658 mln euros in revenue last year, down by 20.1%, from 28.368 mln euros, in 2015. The company's net profit narrowed by a factor or 18.6 to 127,500 euros, Merko Statyba said in a 2016 report of operations submitted to the Center of Registers. At the end of 2016, Merko Statyba had 72 mln euros worth of signed contracting contracts, which, in its words, should result in increase in revenue. The Lithuanian company is fully owned by Estonia's Merko Ehitus.
