Hesburger to open nearly 40 restaurants in Baltic countries in coming years

The Finnish fast food chain Hesburger plans to open nearly 40 new restaurants in the Baltic countries in the next five-six years, while at present there are more than 130 Hesburger restaurants in the three countries, according to the Finnish daily Helsingin Sanomat reports. In Lithuania the sales of Hesburger last year increased by nearly a quarter to 17.9 mln euros. In Latvia sales grew 10.5% to 19.8 mln euros and in Estonia by 7% to 20.3 mln euros, the newspaper reports. There are more than 40 Hesburger restaurants in each of the three countries.
