"I have been informed that there are no disagreements. It is just a matter of time when all sides sign the agreement. This may take a couple of weeks, possibly less," told Rimvydas Stilinis, chairman of the management board at Litgrid.
He said that Sweden's ABB would make the repairs at its own expense.
Lithuanian Energy Minister Zygimantas Vaiciunas told in February that the power cable's sleeves might have to be replaced.
According to Litgrid, submarine power cables go offline 10 times on average per year. NordBalt shut down around 15 times in 2016, but it operated in a trial mode in the first half of the year.
The 550-mln-euro, 453-kilometer undersea cable linking Lithuania to Sweden was laid in late 2015.
