Lithuania's stevedoring co Klasco to pay out EUR 3.5 mln as dividends

Klaipedos Juru Kroviniu Kompanija (Klaipeda Stevedoring Company, or Klasco), which is part of Achemos Grupe (Achema Group), will distribute 3.47 mln euros as dividends to shareholders, or 0.233 euros per share, after posting a 50-mln-euro pretax profit for 2016. The company said that its operating revenue last year came in at 45.3 mln euros, up 1.1% from 44.8 mln euros in 2015. Klasco paid out 3.5 mln euros as dividends to shareholders in 2016 after posting a pretax profit of 5.7 mln euros for 2015. The total volume of cargo handled by the company grew by 1.3% in 2016 y-o-y to 12.36 mln tons. Klasco, which is 93.5% owned by Achemos Grupe, plans to invest over 5 mln euros this year.
