IKEA is a Swedish company, founded in 1943, that designs and sells ready-to-assemble furniture, appliances, and home accessories. The Lithuania-based shopping center is the 334th store owned and operated by IKEA chain in the world and the first in the Baltic States. Lithuania ranks fifth among major suppliers of goods to this chain.
Over 200 new jobs have been created in this new furniture-selling mall opened in Lithuania.
