Indre Miliniene, spokeswoman for Klaipedos Nafta (Klaipeda Oil), the Klaipeda LNG terminal's operator, told that Arctic Princess gas carrier had entered the port with about 140,000 cubic meters of gas on Sunday.
In the current gas year, the Lithuanian buyers of Norwegian gas are the gas trade companies Litgas and Lietuvos Duju Tiekimas (Lithuanian Gas Supply, or LDT). Litgas said on its website that the Sunday's shipment would contain 35,000 cubic meters of gas for the company.
The remaining share of the shipment will be intended for LDT, the supplier of gas to household users, also possibly for the fertilizer manufacturer Achema, which failed to bring all of the gas purchased from Statoil in the past gas year.
