The bulk of the foreign-owned real estate is in the county of Vilnius, where its value last year rose by 7% to 198.58 mln euros.
The value of foreign-owned real property increased by 9.1% to 70.51 mln euros in the county of Klaipeda, by 15.9% to 23.43 mln euros in the county of Alytus and by 13.6% to 16.41 mln euros in the county of Kaunas.
Russia's residents owned 99 mln euros worth of real estate in Lithuania in late 2015, up by 6.7% y-o-y. Further down the list were Belarusians with 28.4 mln euros (up 11.9%), Germans with 25.3 mln euros (up 13%) and US residents with 24.2 mln euros (up 21.6%).
