Up until now, the company has been leasing premises in the Industrial Logistics Park in the outskirts of Klaipeda. Lavango Group's CEO Vygandas Srebalius maintains that the investment in construction of own production facilities has been considered for a long time, adding that the decision was triggered by increase of rent.
Structure of the 2,000 square meter plant was manufactured and will be assembled by Borgalita, while EDM Statyba (EDM Construction) is the general contractor. Lavango Group has booked more land next to the new plant, with plans to build another plant of about 1,500 square meters in the future.
