The central government budget revenue totaled 545.3 million euros and was 1.9%, or 10.2 million euros, above the monthly target.
Tax revenue of the central government budget amounted to 513.1 million euros, exceeding the target by 1.2%, the ministry said.
The value-added tax brought 396.6 million euros into the state's coffers in the reporting period, 0.9%, or 3.3 million euros, more than projected.
Excise tax revenues, at 74.9 million euros, were 1.1%, or 0.8 million euros, above the target for January.
Revenues from the corporate profit tax came in at 2.5 million euros and exceeded the planned amount by 254.3%, or 1.5 million euros.
The personal income tax generated 78.1 million euros in budget revenues for the central and local governments, which was 1%, or 0.8 million euros, above the projected level.
This year's central government budget projects 5.945 billion euros in annual revenue, not including EU funds, and 8.046 billion euros, with EU funds included.
