Lithuania's retail trade volume rose by 4.5 % in November compared with a year ago, the fifth-highest rate after Romania's 15 %, Poland's 5.9 %, the United Kingdom's 5.4 % and Sweden's 4.7 %.
Estonia's retail sales increased by 1.7 % year-on-year, while Latvia posted a 0.7 % decline.
In November compared with October, retail sales ticked down by 0.2 % in Lithuania and fell by 1.5 % in Estonia and by 3.2 % in Latvia.
Across the EU, the volume of retail trade grew by 2.6 % year-on-year and edged up by 0.2 % month-on-month.
