Klaipedos Nafta said in a statement to the Nasdaq Vilnius stock exchange on Tuesday that it had signed a long-term contract with Verum Plus for heavy oil product transshipment services at its oil product terminal.
The term of the contract is one year with an option to extend it for another year.
The first such contract between the companies, signed in July 2015, expired at the end of the year.
Klaipedos Nafta spokeswoman Indre Miliniene told BNS that the oil product terminal operator would not disclose the volume of products handled for Verum Plus.
The Klaipeda terminal's throughput reached 5.764 mln. tons of oil products in January through November 2015, up 16.5 % from 4.947 mln. tons in the same period of 2014.
