The Lithuanian furniture manufacturer has invested in a new technology and will launch the production of painted furniture next year.
In future, such products are expected to account for 20 to 30% of the company's total furniture output.
Klaipedos Baldai has already invested 3 million euros in more productive equipment and a new painting line this year. In addition, it has approved an investment of additional 7 million euros for 2016.
Furniture manufactured by the Lithuanian company is produced almost exclusively for IKEA and is shipped to the Swedish furniture retailer's stores all across the world.
