In November alone, new car registrations jumped by an annual 26% to 1,659 units, the market research company said, based on data from the state car registration company Regitra.
"Alongside domestic demand, re-exports remain a key driver of growth in the market: 174 of the new cars registered in November were removed from the register by the end of the month and at least 11 more will be deregistered shortly," it said in a press release.
Volkswagen last month held onto its number one position in Lithuania's new car market with 250 new cars registered, followed by Fiat in second position with 236 and Skoda in third with 157 registrations.
BMW continued to rank first in the premium car segment with 48 registrations.
