EconomyStatistics Lithuania informs that in May 2018, against April, construction input prices increased by 0.6%. The greatest influence on the overall price change was made by a 1.3% increase in wages and salaries, 0.4% increase in prices of construction materials and products, as well as by a 0.3% decrease in overheads. An increase in average gross hourly earnings was determined by increased lump sum premiums, bonuses and benefits. The existing interconnection between Lithuania and Poland and a reserve link will be used for the synchronization of the Baltic power grids with the Continental European network, the Lithuanian president's chief advisor said on June 27t. The Bank of Lithuania has not changed its GDP forecasts. The central bank still expects Lithuania's economy to grow 3.2% this year and slow to 2.7% next year.
