‘Orlen Lietuva‘ is one of the largest tax payers in Lithuania. It is not only the producer of fuel, but also one of the largest economic centres in the country, creating thousands of jobs (directly and indirectly). It is one of the best know Polish brands in Lithuania and this year marks the 10th anniversary of its presence in the local market.

This year marks 10 years since ‘PKN Orlen’ became the owner of the oil refinery in Mažeikiai. Today ‘Orlen Lietuva‘ (known as ‘Mažeikių nafta‘ until 2009) is the largest Polish investment and the largest tax payer in Lithuania. It is also the largest foreign investment on Lithuanian territory.
