Experts point out the EU's currency as one of the main reasons of the economic collapse of Greece as well as a cause of great financial problems in Italy, Spain, and Ireland. Resignation of own currency means a voluntary rejection of the instruments creating an independent financial policy of the state. Southern European countries discovered it the hard way. The Parliament of Lithuania adopted amendments to the Law on Passport on Thursday allowing to include a record about ethnicity in a passport after submitting a written application.
