We would like to present you the new social-informational website L24.lt. It will be one of the first (just after DELFI) quadrilingual websites created in Lithuanian, Polish, English, and Russian. The short name L24 is made of the first letter of the name of the state - Lietuva, Litwa, Lithuania, Литва – and of the number 24 which is a symbol of round-the-clock online website informing you of the most important events.

The website L24.lt was initiated in order to enable people get free access to true and wide-ranging information. The task of the website is to quickly pass on the information about the newest events and facts concerning the everyday life of Lithuania and abroad, the news on politics, economics, sport, culture, religion and other from all over the world. We will do our best to provide you with as much as possible of positive information aimed at uniting all social groups for the welfare of the state and at building understanding and good relations between neighbours. The website also aims at expressing factual opinions on hot topics pervading people and at forming discussions of constructive level. In our work we are open to cooperation with all the media of Lithuania.

Our team consists of involved people who are faithful to traditions but also open to the modern world and are keen on establishing new goals and taking up new challenges. These are young people in general, but widely experienced in journalism, i.e. Beata Nanevič, Gintarė Pugačiauskaitė , Anastasija Pismenikova, Teresa Vorobej, Zdislav Palevič Jr, Pavel Kobak. We will be cooperating with various environments and societies of multilingual and multicultural Lithuania, with social and political organisations, self-govenments of Vilnius Region as well as of Klaipėda, Visaginas, Kaunas Region, Samogitia (Žemaitija) and other regions of our country in order to exchange information and form mutual understanding and overall well-being.
