"Moldova's determination and courage as it walks down the path of European integration serves as a role model for all the countries in the region. I sincerely welcome your country's achievements in launching and successfully effecting European reforms," the President wrote in her message of congratulations.

The President underlined that Lithuania had always supported the committed efforts of Moldova in this direction and would continue to contribute in every way to incorporate Moldova's presence into the common European economic, political and value-based space.
 
"I strongly hope that Moldova and the European Union will consolidate their joint accomplishments at the Vilnius Summit this coming November, laying down the guidelines for further close cooperation," the President wrote.
 
Dalia Grybauskaitė sent her best wishes for the peace of prosperity of Moldova as well as for the President's strong commitment and resolve in working for the good and security of his country.
