The project will help both existing companies and start-ups to integrate circular design principles into their business model, to develop and improve products and services, to reduce environmental pollution, and at the same time to generate profits. The latest subject rankings of the country’s educational institutions were published today. Vilnius University (VU) was the best performer in the ranking, as it is every year – the University was declared the leader in more than one-third of the evaluated bachelor’s degree programmes and almost half of the master’s degree programmes. This year, VU has improved its position in 7 bachelor’s and 5 master’s study fields. Everyone in the hardware industry – from students to experienced engineers - is invited to take advantage of a unique opportunity to prototype advanced electronic solutions and develop start-ups together with experts. The "Rethinking Hardware" hackathon will take place on 9-11 December at the Vilnius Gediminas Technical University's Creativity and Innovation Centre "LinkMenų fabrikas". The organisers of the hackathon – "Bridgio Tech Accelerator" and VILNIUS TECH "LinkMenų fabrikas", supported by "Promwad", an electronics design house, focusing on future technologies – e-mobility, smart homes, IoT and others – will open up a space where participants can work on innovative ideas and turn them into real projects. Arqus Publishes a Series of Videos about How to Prepare a Successful CV in Different Countries2022-12-02, 18:36What are employers and recruiters in Lithuania, Germany, Italy, Poland, Spain and France looking for? How to prepare a successful Curricula Vitae (CV) to apply for job and internship offers in these Arqus countries? What are the special characteristics of the above local labour markets? The Alliance has just published a series of short videos in English that introduce key content about how to prepare a good CV and a cover letter in some of the Arqus Universities’ countries. The videos also provide students and graduates with relevant tips and other resources to foster their employability opportunities. In the Global Online Marketing Academic Challenge (GOMAC 2022), the team students of the KTU School of Economics and Business, the Marketing study programme were recognized as the winners of the European region. The campaign of another team from KTU entered the final. The Rectors' Scholarship Competition, which has become a tradition among the three Baltic universities - Vilnius University (VU), the University of Latvia and the University of Tartu - is again inviting students to participate. This year, the competition is moving to Vilnius University. In October, Vilnius University (VU) hosted its traditional Student for a Day event, where students had the opportunity to experience first-hand the difference between university studies and school classes. This year's event attracted significant interest from Lithuanian and foreign students, with over 5,300 students registered.
