"This means that the purpose of the Vilnius service center is not only the process management, but also the creation of new value-added," Geert De Raedemaecker, vice-president at Yara International, which has in the past shown interest in investing in Lithuania's fertilizer producer Achema, told the paper.
The center plans to eventually employ around 250 professionals.
Over 70 business service centers with a total workforce of some 15,000 people currently operate in Lithuania. Most of these centers are units of financial service providers, but some are units of industrial and logistic companies.
