"Projects would be delayed for several years and the state would pour several million euros down the drain. Businesses would have to conduct their own research, because wind power developers know best what research and where needs to be done," Linas Sabaliauskas, CEO of the renewable energy company Renerga, told the business daily.
Renerga is considering building a 300-MW wind farm in the Baltic Sea.
Baltic Energy Group, a company related to 4 Energia, wants to build offshore wind farms with a capacity of over 1,500 megawatts.
