Lieutenant General Ben Hodges, the commander of the United States Army Europe, told earlier this week that the equipment would include the US gear that is currently in Lithuania for the training of the US troops.
"The troops, they have it now and they are exercising in Lithuania. At the end of their training, the equipment will stay there,".
About 70 units of US military equipment were stationed in Lithuania in the end of October, including 13 Bradley infantry fighting vehicles and five M1A2 Abrams tanks.
