Ten years ago, the United Nations General Assembly designated January 27 as the International Holocaust Remembrance Day. Auschwitz was the largest concentration camp established by the Nazi regime. Between 1940 and 1945, around 1.5 million people of different nationalities were killed in this camp.
Live streaming of the event will be available at Auschwitz Museum's website www.70.auschwitz.org from 16:30 hours.
