Chairman of the Electoral Action of Poles in Lithuania Valdemar Tomaševski appeared on the list of the most influential politicians in Lithuania. Tomaševski put himself on strong position overtaking tens of political activists: members of the European Parliament, ministers, and members of the Seimas.

Lithuanian news site 'Delfi' is conducting a project called 'Most influential people in Lithuania 2015'.

It is made of seven-part cycle the target of which is to point out the most influential Lithuanian politicians, businessmen/economists, social activists, lawyers, officials and media representatives.

All of this will lead to making general list of most influential people in Lithuania.

Ranking will be made based on opinions of citizens and elite representatives.

First part of the project is the presentation of a list of most influential politicians in our country.

There is the President Dalia Grybauskaitė at the head of the list. The Prime Minister Algridas Butkevičius is on the second place. Vytautas Landsbergis, head of the state in 1990 - 1992, is third.

30th place from 55 available is occupied by the EAPL leader, member of the European Parliament Valdemar Tomaševski.

In the category of Members of the European Parliament, Valdemar Tomaševski is higher than Zigmantas Balčytis or Petras Auštrevičius, while Bronius Ropė or Algirdas Saudargas are not included on the list at all.
