The first place is taken by the current president of Lithuania Dalia Grybauskaitė (support of 31.6 percent). The second – swimmer Rūta Meilutytė. The Prime Minister Algirdas Butkevičius is on the third place, while the fourth – the former President of Lithuania Valdas Adamkus. Below there are also names of the Member of the Seimas Petras Gražulis, the former President and current Member of the European Parliament Rolandas Paksas, Member of the European Parliament Antanas Guoga, Commissioner of the European Commission Vytenis Andriukaitis, and Members of the European Parliament Viktor Uspaskich and Valdemar Tomaševski.
Chairman of the Electoral Action of Poles in Lithuania Valdemar Tomaševski, who was supported by 110 000 inhabitants (8.4 percent in the state) in last presidential elections, appeared in the top ten of the plebiscite for the first time. Tomaševski overtook Vilija Blinkevičiūtė, Loreta Graužinienė, Naglis Puteikis, Aušra Maldeikienė, Andrius Kubilius, and Valentinas Mazuronis.
The poll was carried out on 14-24th November; the participants mentioned 80 names of social activists, i.e. 37 politicians, 20 representatives of show business, journalists, television show presenters, actors, directors, artists, 9 athletes and coaches.
