The companies were ranked by the financial and banking advisor Prudentia and Nasdaq Riga in cooperation with Creditinfo.
SEB Group comes second on the TOP10 of the most valuable companies in the Baltics, while Estonia's Tallink Group is third.
Lithuania's Maxima Group is the best valued Lithuanian enterprise on this year's list. The Group moved up by one position from the last year (5th, last year – 6th). Other two Lithuanian companies, Lithuanian Railways (7th, last year – 8th) and the energy company Lietuvos Energija (8th, last year – 7th), also made it to the TOP10 in the Baltics.
Largely, the position of all companies among the top ten most valuable companies in the Baltics is based on their ability to generate positive cash flow in the long-term, to be sufficiently transparent and to be able to develop their business beyond national borders.
